“The unbuilt is the fantasy that underlies everything.”

BIO : Bria Livengood has recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture, and a minor in art. As an undergraduate artist, she has aspired to label her emotional perception across various mediums as a sort of “scrapbook” embodiment of emotional. Through this “color journalism”, she look to not only communicate on an emotional level, but also retrospectively into [ her own] existence. In between the two, she pursues the intersections of art and architecture through writing, project studies, and other mediums. She is currently pursuing certification to be a LEED green associate.

STATEMENT : As an aspiring future architect, I look to contribute to the design solutions being used to address the developments of housing with emphasis on green, affordable, and accessible designs that are able to maintain a function and modern style. In my post graduation employment, I look forward to furthering my creative potential both as an individual and in a team.
